There are times in our practice that we can go ahead and begin treatment within a week or so after your initial visit. If we need to evaluate your diagnostic records to make further treatment decisions, we will have your family come back for a consultation appointment or will set up a phone consultation. At this appointment we will discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.
The day you begin your treatment (braces, expanders, etc.), the appointment usually takes about two hours. You’ll then see us at regular intervals 6 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 40 minutes. Our office at our Raleigh location from Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 5PM and at our Zebulon location one day per week from 8:30AM to 5PM. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. Cancel only if it is an emergency. It is difficult to reschedule you since most appointments are made 6 to 8 weeks in advance.
We have a computerized scheduling program, which provides printed confirmation tickets for all of your appointments. The same program allows us to offer printed legal school and work excuse tickets each time you are here and away from school or work.
You can also register on our Patient Portal to receive e-mail confirmations as well as text message confirmations. You can check your appointments 24 hours a day 7 days a week by logging in too.
